Hello Everyone, it's been awhile. I apologize for that. Its been a very busy couple of months, I had a family emergency which is why I haven't had the time to post. Hopefully now that things have calmed down, that should change. It's so good to be back!!

What a great night I had at CVS!!! I knew ahead of time I would need to plan my trip out and get there early. For the Black Friday Sale, I got there at 11pm and people were fighting over things!! Crazy. I met alot of great people that coupon just like me. I enjoyed going out with my Best Friend over at Mommy Saving A Buck for our late night adventure. We got there at 10:30pm and didn't get home until after 1:30am.....

Recipe of the Week - YUMMO

I thought it would be fun to put a Recipe of the Week in my blog. All of these recipes are ones that my family and I have tried and loved!! Many of them are Weight Watcher Friendly!! Please take a minute to leave me a comment if you tried my recipe and if you and your family liked it!!

LIL' CHEDDAR MEATLOAF MUFFINS

WW Points Per Serving: 6

Servings 8

Preheat oven 350 degrees

1 lb Extra Lean Ground Beef

1/2 c. Chopped Onion

1 Egg

3/4 c Nonfat Milk

1 c Fat Free Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1/2 c Quick Cooking Oats

1 tsp Salt

Topping:

2/3 c Reduced Calorie Ketchup

1/2 c Brown Sugar

1 1/2 tsp Mustard

In bowl, beat egg and milk. Stir in cheese, oats, onion and salt. Add beef & mix well. Shape into 8 loaves or muffins. Place in a greased muffin or mini loaf pan. Combine ketchup, brown sugar and mustard and spoon over loaves. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.

Swagbucks is very similar to google, only you get points for when you search and shop and you can turn those points into great giftcards or even prizes. I have only been using Swagbucks for about a month or two and I have already gotten a $5 Starbucks Card. Not to shabby for just browsing the net huh??

It's CVS Time!

Well, Tomorrow is the day!! Be sure to go and get a few Sunday Papers, I usually buy 5 just for the inserts. I keep them all in a folder by date that way, I don't have to cut and organize coupons and so many blogs out there will tell you which add the coupon is in as well as the date.

If you are new to CVS...it can become quite an addiction. First, you will need to get one of their Extra Care Cards. It is free to sign up at the store or online. I would do it at the store that way you get full use of your card right away. There are scanners, when you walk into CVS that I recommend scanning your card before shopping. They print out great coupons. Sometimes $4 off $20, or $2 off Vitamins, etc. Regardless of what it prints out, they can all be stacked ontop of using a manufacturers coupon. After you have your card, be sure and look through the Sunday Ad for CVS and look for anything that is FREE after ECB (Extra Care Bucks), these are used like cash in the store. You build these up and after a few trips, you will pay little to nothing out of pocket for anything in the store.

Yes, I admit...I never in a million years thought I'd be the "frugal" type. It was always seemed to be too much work to me to cut coupons, let alone try to remember to use them.
