My CVS Trip 11/9/08



Paid $2.61 OOP (Out of Pocket)

Now if this doesn't motivate you to go try out CVS, I don't know what will. I went to CVS this morning and I planned out my trip, cut my coupons and had my different transactions worked out so I could get the best deal possible for little to no cost out of pocket.

Here is what I did....

Transaction #1:

L'Oreal Advanced Revitalift 1 oz - $11.99
Sour Skittles (I used this as a filler, so I didn't waste my ECB) $.89

USED 3 ECB - $2.00, $4.88 and $6.00, Paid $0 Out of Pocket for this transaction.
Savings $17.08

Got back $11.99 in ECB to spend in the store...so I rolled these over to my next transaction.

Transaction #2:

2 St. Ives Body Washes - $3.99 each - Used 2 Mfr Coupons for $2.00 off on each
1 Neutrogena Lipsheers - $5.99 each - Used 1 Mfr Coupon for $1.00 off
1 Rimmel Mascara - $6.99 - Used 1 Mfr Coupon for $1.00 off
4 Snack Bags of Chips (used again for fillers) - $.99 each
1 Snack Bag of Honey Roasted Peanuts (filler) - $.99

USED $5 off $25 purchase and USED 2 ECB - $2.00, and $11.99, Paid $1.06 Out of Pocket for this transaction.
Savings $27.99

Got back $10.00 in ECB to spend in the store...again, rolled these into my next transaction.

Transaction #3:

3 Boxes of Kelloggs Cereal - $2.00 each - Used 3 Mfr Coupons for $1.00 off each
4 Glade Air Freshener Sprays - $.99 each - Used 2 $1.00/2 coupons
1 Nova Max Blood Glucose Monitor - $9.99 each Regular price is over $50
(I will donate or give this to family)
1 L Smart Water - $1.59 each

USED 4 ECB - $3.00, $3.00, $4.00 and $6.54. Paid $0 Out of Pocket for this transaction.
Savings $82.01

Got back $11.58 in ECB to spend in the store...rolling these into my final transaction!!

Transaction #4:

2 6pks of Gatorade 20oz - 2 for $8.00
2 Listerine Agent Blue Rinse - $3.99 each - Used 2 Mfr Coupons for $1.00 off each
1 CVS Body Wash - $2.99
1 CVS Hand Soap - $1.99
2 CVS Facial Tissues - $1.29 each
1 CVS Maxi Pads - $6.49
(Used CVS Printout Coupon from Scanner for $2.00 off $10 worth of CVS products)
1 Pringles - $1.99

USED 6 ECB - $1.00, $1.59, $4.00, $4.00, $6.00 and $9.99. Paid $1.55 Out of Pocket for this transaction. Savings $40.36

Got back $10.00 ECB to use next week!!!!

So Basically...I got $98.81 worth of stuff for only $2.61!!!!
